This training is for those who want to dive deeper into the subtle practice of Yin Yoga.

Maybe you’ve experienced the benefits of Yin Yoga and you’d like to learn how to teach others, or perhaps you have an inclination that you need more “yin” in your life, but you’re not sure how or would like to learn more. Or both?

During the training, you’ll be guided through reflective Yin Yoga, meditation and gentle breath work practices to help you truly experience what it feels like to embody “yin”. Whether you’re looking to teach others after the training or not, this training encourages you to experience the effects of the practices first to empower you to speak from your own personal experience.
You’ll also come away with tools that will help you feel lighter and more energised, having opened the gateway to your inner landscape.

Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissue - fascia - and the meridians that run through it (based on 5 elements and meridian theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine). The work can be subtle, but the effects are profound - not only for your body but more so for your mind and overall health.

Lucy & Rachel invite you to join them on this journey. With a common goal and love of sharing these practices, they have created the training to serve you from the inside out.

Lucy Foster Perkin

Lucy is a Yoga Teacher and co-owner of The Pineapple House Bali with Rachel Fearnley. She settled back in 2019 after living and teaching in 6 countries around the world.

Lucy’s journey to Yin (Yin as a yoga practice and Yin as a concept) started after she experienced adrenal fatigue in 2014.  Her journey from studying and practicing the more subtle practices of mindfulness, meditation, facial release and meridian-based Yin Yoga lead her back to health and offered a more intimate relationship with her body and energy.

With the increase of exhaustion in modern culture Lucy enjoys passing on the teachings she has received on Traditional Chinese Medicine Element Theory, the subtle practices of Yin Yoga and healing methods of Ayurveda to empower others to find their own journey towards balance.

Lucy also teaches Vinyasa Flow, Hatha and Ayurvedic practices.  As an ex-professional dancer Lucy has a solid understanding of the body, how it moves and the subtle art of listening to the messages it offers us.

Some nice words from our 50Hr Yin Yoga teacher training graduates

"The teachers are incredible..."

Yin training was a huge revelation for me! I have always looked for information everywhere about meridians, yin, breathing exercises... It was never clear and above all I was loosing myself. The training allowed me to discover the world of Yin, to explore theory and practice, to understand the important theories and to retain them! The teachers are incredible, they have so much knowledge to share and at the same time are open to receive as well. It was a real beautiful experience, feeling the benefits of yin on both my physical and moral state. I loved every class and feel really grateful. I want to learn more but above all I want to practice, make people discover what I have learned and... help them to feel better ! Thanks to the whole team, I will do it again without hesitation ! :)

"The location was fabulous..."

Everything and more! The yoga teachers were excellent. They were knowledgeable, interesting, engaging and delivered both the written and practical education enthusiastically and passionately. The location was fabulous and I stayed at the Oasis which was first class. A healthy hearty breakfast in the morning supplemented by coffee and delights from the Cafe just across the road. I felt rejuvenated and inspired at the end of the week. The group consisted of people from all across the Globe and everyone was so friendly. I attended this alone and did not find this a problem at all.

"...I learnt more about myself, my body, my mind..."

I haven’t quite processed everything I have learnt from this week. But I know I learnt more about myself, my body, my mind than before I feel more aware of what my body wants and needs and excited to share my knowledge with others.

"I've gained a lot of knowledge and..."

I would recommend The Peaceful Warriors yin yoga teacher training with Rachel and Jody. It has been a perfect 50HR with so much new knowledge, nice people and talented teachers. I especially loved how the philosophy upon the meridians, the breath work and mindfulness and also the overall structure of a day in the course. It left room for movement, as we did two classes a day and a short practice in the afternoon. The studio provided a lot of bolsters, blocks, mats, belts and nothing was missing here either. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge and new perspectives, so so so good! :-)

"A transformative course..."

A transformative course run by incredibly passionate and knowledgeable teachers. I will be following these teachers as a student for life. :)
