This training is for those who wants to dive deeper into the subtle practice of Yin Yoga.
Maybe you’ve experienced the benefits of Yin Yoga and you’d like to learn how to teach others, or perhaps you have an inclination that you need more “yin” in your life, but you’re not sure how or would like to learn more. Or both?
During the training you’ll be guided through reflective Yin Yoga, meditation and gentle breath work practices to help you truly experience what it feels like to embody “yin”. Whether you’re looking to teach others after the training or not, this training encourages you to experience the effects of the practices first to empower you to speak from your own personal experience.
You’ll also come away with tools that will help you feel lighter and more energised, having opened the gateway to your inner landscape.
Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissue - fascia - and the meridians that run through it (based on 5 element and meridian theory from Traditional Chinese Medicine). The work can be subtle, but the effects are profound - not only for your body but more so for your mind and overall health.
Lucy & Rachel invite you to join them on this journey. With a common goal and love of sharing these practices, they have created the training to serve you from the inside out.
Yin Practice – An introduction to the history and lineage of Yin yoga. The foundational principals of a simple practice for every body using the four stages of a yin pose.
Inner Landscapes – 5 element and meridian theory as taught in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Anatomy and fascial trains – Focusing on both the physical & subtle energy bodies and how Yin Yoga uniquely targets these areas.
Breath Work – Understanding how the breath is used to shift stagnant energy in our Yin poses & to enhance our meditation practice.
Mind – We’ll dive deeper into meditation and mindfulness practices and learn how they are integral to our Yin Yoga practice.
Yin Teaching – The subtle art of creating & holding a safe space for Yin classes. The language of yin & teaching. Creating class structure.
Embodying Yin – Taking the wisdom of Yin & TCM into our everyday lives, physically, energetically and mentally.

These are recommendation and not required reading. Feel free to bring these with you however they are NOT essential to have read or to bring to the course.
Cosmos Oasis is set amongst the paddy fields, creating a serene environment and an oasis to inspire and connect with your true self. The training and the accommodation will take place at Cosmos Oasis 2; a western inspired yoga ashram where cool, contemporary design meets functional simplicity and comfort. A beautiful, spacious yoga Shala overlooking the rice-fields, a shared kitchen area, a pool and an open lounging areas where you can hang out, study and socialise.
Cosmos Oasis is centrally located, less than 2 km from Echo Beach and 1.5 km from the famous Batu Bolong area in Canggu, and just 45 minutes from the Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Delicious organic breakfast is included in the training and we cater for all dietary requirements from gluten-free, vegan & vegetarian meals.

You can choose to book the training including or excluding accommodation. The rooms at Cosmos 2 are all in true western inspired ashram style; small, simple but very clean and comfortable. And we hope you will find there is everything you need for when you are not busy with the training or out and about exploring Canggu and Bali.

Alternatively, then it’s absolutely no problem finding (often more affordable) accommodation in the neighbourhood. As mentioned generally about 50% of our students choose to stay off-site. And it makes absolutely no difference to the overall experience of the training.
The Peaceful Warriors training exceeded my expectations to say the least! In addition to learning about the Asana practice and the physical aspects of Yoga, the training complements your learning with so much more: Anatomy, meditation, breathing, the history and the philosophy of Yoga, Nutrition, Ayurveda, etc, putting the yoga practice and lifestyle into a much more wholistic context. Every class I attended brought me with so much understanding of not only yoga but also who I am. I felt that I was learning and expanding as a person, which is essential if you would like to take your practice to share with other students. Bente and Maria as the main teachers of the YTT are fully dedicated, inspiring and deeply knowledgeable. Their teaching methods complement one another which exposes the students to various ways of teaching from day one. They are also available to answer any question at all points of the training. Bente and Maria eased the group into the idea of teaching, starting with peer-teaching, then small groups before you can confidently stand and teach the whole class. The space where we practiced was beautiful, overlooking the rice fields of Bali and waking up to the sunrise before practice was just priceless. The teachers facilitated the group dynamic and created such a strong team spirit throughout the journey. That is why I highly recommend this YTT without any hesitation
This unforgettable adventure peaceful yoga warrior comes to end for me. I feel very grateful. Bente and Maria are amazing teachers with a lot of knowlegde and know how. Always supportive, here at everytime to answer questions or anything else. Be sure they will do our possible to make you feel at ease during this month. The others teachers are also great and super talentuous. I didn't expect to learn as much. The field of this ytt is very large and it's something I appreciate (ayurveda, nutrition...).. The shala opens towards the rice fields is the perfect place to practice and the monday breakfast a paradise for food lover. It's for me an unforgettable human experience I recommend to everyone who loves yoga.
This teacher training exceeded all my expectations. First and foremost the teachers are excellent. They are so so encouraging, supportive and inspiring. The wide range of knowledge that I gained was exceptional. The classes are really varied, exciting and enjoyable. I was introduced to a wide range of subjects, including Ayurveda and nutrition. I have a much more complete vision of who I am and who I want to be as a teacher and have been set up perfectly to now go away and really delve into the areas that interest me personally. This journey was about so much more than yoga, the friends you will make and the personal development that you go through is too amazing to put into words. I really can't recommend this enough.
