We at The Peaceful Warriors practice and teach Yoga with a deep conviction that the potential to change the world lives in each of us. Our bodies, minds and souls must be connected in order to create lasting change.
We believe that there is a powerful experience that is much needed to begin a revolution in the way transform the lives of children and teens.
In collaboration with Yoga for Kids Bali and MTC BALI, a non-profit organization created to enhance the daily lives of children and families affected by physical and mental disabilities, we are offering a 6 day/or online, 50-hour immersion and teacher training into yoga and mindfulness for children and teens.
Our mission is to help kids thrive in the world regardless of circumstances, and navigate the many challenges they face with a sense of personal power and self-awareness. Therefore, The Peaceful Warriors & Jeanne will be donating a shared 15 percent of the training profits to MTC (Matahari Terbit Center). (Only for in-person training)

6 Day | 50HR Immersion & Teacher Training into Yoga and Mindfulness for Children and Youth
A high quality, international and Yoga Alliance accredited Immersion & Teacher Training, available to Yoga Teachers, Primary and Secondary School Teachers, Therapists, Parents and anyone who is passionate about sharing yoga and mindfulness with children and teens, our future. ❤️
This 6-day or online | 50HR Immersion & Teacher Training on the magical island of Bali or from he comfort of your home will cultivate your knowledge and understanding of children’s yoga, social emotional learning and creating resilient youth.
We include all techniques to offer you the best of age appropriate yoga and mindfulness for children and teens and provide you with comprehensive content that supports you on your journey with yoga on the yoga mat or classroom environment.
We explore the world of traditional yoga ethics and philosophy, basic anatomy and physiology, mindfulness and meditation for children, classroom management, childhood development, group and partner poses and an an opportunity to teach a hands on children yoga class.
As you delve deeper into yourself as a yoga and mindfulness teacher for kids and teens, your own yoga practice and inner child exploration will continue to deepen.
During this training we will have a couple of Speciality Teachers joining the team and sharing their knowledge about; Music Therapy and Self Love to improve mental health.
On the last day of the training, you will visit MTC and Sunrise School, where you will get to use your new set of skills for a hands on experience teaching yoga and mindfulness to children. (Only in-person training)

• Comprehend the physiology of stress and anxiety and how it affects childhood development

• Know the order in which to deliver content to keep children and teens engaged
• Find your authentic teachers voice
By undertaking this 50HR Immersion & Teacher Training into Yoga and Mindfulness for Children and Teens you will have knowledge of the following areas:
• Building Your Yoga Toolkit
• Strategies for Teaching Yoga & Mindfulness to Children (ADHD considerations)
• Breathe: 8 Breath work practices for energy modulation and calming (energising and calming breaths)
• Postures: 10 Chair based Yoga Postures and over 20 Safe Yoga based movements to develop an improved sense of control (Grounding, Strengthening, Balancing), stretch tight muscles and strengthen weak muscles in the classroom and on the yoga mat. Learn a basic Sun Salutation to teach to children and teens.
• Focus: 5 Single pointed Focus activities to build focus and attention (Gratitude & Affirmation)
• Rest: 9 Practices to calm the nervous system (Guided Visualisation, progressive muscle relaxation, massage)
• Basic anatomy and physiology of the skeletal system, nervous system, endocrine system, respiratory system and digestive system.

We start at 9:00am on the first day and finish at 4:00pm on the last day
Please Note: This program is created in a way that executes various teaching strategies. We intertwine common core Montessori methods (self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play) as well as small group instruction.

Having trained with Rainbow Kids Yoga and Calm Classrooms, as well as studying with various advanced teachers from the traditional tantric yoga lineage, shamanism and the magic world of sound healing, Avi will bring the unique use of music and sound into this heartfelt training.
Lola is a dedicated Yoga practitioner, researcher, educator, self-love mentor, Buddhist Meditation teacher and Movement/Play therapist. Initially trained as a dancer and choreographer, she later extended her education in Dance/Movement Therapy, Yogic Philosophy, Buddhist Psychology, Positive Psychology, Play Therapy and Meditation. Her training and work experience comes from India, Japan, Vietnam, Czech Republic, Spain, Indonesia, Germany and Greece.
Lola’s work synthesizes intuitive movement, gentle touch, soothing breath work, and joyful play. Her classes and workshops are an invitation for an intimate exploration of the self, and an opportunity to cultivate self-love, compassion, connection, courage, somatic confidence, awareness and authentic self-expression.
She is the author of three books ( 1. Atma-Prema Yoga: 13 Essential Practices For Awakening Self-Love, 2. Practice Happiness: A Handbook For Busy People, 3. Self-Love Workbook) and a contributing writer for The Chopra Center.
Lola currently resides in Canggu (Bali, Indonesia) with her husband and two lovely cats, Kali and Santosha.

How does the online course works?
The course is all completed online. There are modules for you to work through at your own pace, along with a manual, reflection exercises, voice recorded slides and videos. You can log into the course whenever you have time to work on it! Upon completing all modules, your final homework assignment is to create a 30 minute kids yoga class for all 3 age groups learned with a step by step lesson plan for each to check for understanding to be submitted to the instructor. All work will be returned to you with feedback and suggestions within 10 days. After you complete all modules, you’ll receive your PDF version of your certificate.
How long do I have to complete the course?
The course is self-paced, you can take as long as you need! I recommend trying to finish within 6 months to 1 year so the information stays fresh in your mind.

The training is taking place at Serenity Eco Guesthouse ll at Satya Shala (www.serenitybali.com). Serenity is located in the heart of Canggu, set in the harmonious surroundings of Canggu and only a five-minute stroll away from the beach, Serenity Eco Guesthouse offers a tranquil retreat for everyone.
Serenity is centrally located, less than 2 km from Echo Beach and 1.5 km from the famous Batu Bolong area in Canggu, and just 45 minutes from the Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Alternatively, then it’s absolutely no problem finding (often more affordable) accommodation in the neighbourhood. As mentioned generally about 50% of our students choose to stay off-site. And it makes absolutely no difference to the overall experience of the training.

It forced me dive into myself & is helping me to begin to establish a relationship between my physical body, my mind and my soul.
Some days I thought were “rock bottom” ... but it only made me realize that was part of the journey, the journey of trusting myself of becoming my own “hero” the person who I’ve always been but have never really trusted! All these “things” I see as signs from the universe telling myself to trust ME to believe in ME and to hear ME ... to L O V E me as I am and accept all the little “flaws” that comes with being a human and all.
But I couldn’t have done it without all these beautiful souls, these magical humans who were always there to listen to just “one more story” of why “I’m crying right now” or to give me some ibuprofen when my muscles ached or to pay for a cab ride back to the hotel when I didn’t have any more cash on me and didn’t sweat it cause “it happens to all of us” or that person who believed in me more than I did when I finally landed that “tri-pod headstand” and says “I told you, you could do it!” Or that person who held my hand while I got stitches for the first time & for that I’m so thankful to you all ♥︎ .
if that weren’t enough the universe blessed me with some great teachers. So knowledgeable while being so understanding when we were faced with feeling frustrated. Teachers Who would stay 15 (or more) minutes after a two hour lecture or practice making sure they answered all our questions ... & to our yoga philosophy teachers who knew some subjects were hard & uncomfortable and gave us time to absorve it all and were understanding if we (me) shed a tear and needed a moment to ourselves. To put the last month into words is impossible, to put into feelings is impossible and to put into emotions is even more impossible.
When I signed up for my yoga teaching course I genuinely didn’t expect so learn so much about myself, I didn’t expect to open my heart and open my mind as much and sure as hell didn’t expect to open my tear ducts as much.
I think I’m still trying to process, or even being to process the learnings and new ways of thinking. So from here, the learnings & new practices have only began. From here, I’m nervous for a new future and from here all I can say is fuk yes.

It’s official, completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training with @thepeacefulwarriorsyoga. Without sounding cliché, this journey was life changing. When we think of yoga we often only think of the physical practice, poses, turning oneself into a pretzel! It’s the western way of thinking, and we forget about the connection to the mind and soul. We forget that yoga is also about the breath, meditation, energy systems and the power of what this connection can bring to our lives. I am full of gratitude! I have found a deeper purpose from this journey and I look forward to what lies ahead to help others live a more healthy, and meaningful life.
To all my teachers Bente, Maria, Sean, Rachel, Analu, Magdalena thank you for inspiring me, I have a light inside that is shining brighter then ever! And to my fellow classmates, thank you for sharing this journey with me, for being vulnerable, and for being courageous! I do not believe we came together by chance, but more so to each learn and grow from one another.
